How the examination is conducted

During video laryngoscopy, the doctor inserts a thin, flexible endoscope into the patient's nose or mouth. The examination is brief and typically lasts only a few minutes.

How long does it take to get the results and how to interpret them

The results are usually available within 2-3 business days after the examination. There is also the option to record the images on a CD. The interpretation of the results is always combined with symptoms and previous tests. The final treatment plan is determined by the attending physician.
