Allergy to almonds

The tonsil test is a blood allergy test. The test for almond allergy indicates the allergen Prunus dulcis.

The test involves the determination of IgE antibodies in the blood and is performed when an allergy to almonds is suspected. The advantage of of the test is that there is no need to discontinue antihistamines.

The test is performed in cases of suspected allergies to almonds antihistamines.
