Allergy to hazelnut

The hazel T4 allergy test is a blood allergy test The hazel allergy test refers to the allergen Corylus.

The test involves the determination of IgE antibodies in the blood and is performed when an allergy to hazel is suspected. The advantage of of the test is that there is no need to discontinue antihistamines antihistamines. The blood allergen test is used also for qualification for desensitization of hazelnut allergy.

It is also recommended for the diagnosis of allergenic agents in children under the age of 4 years.
