The late grass mixture test is an allergy test from the
blood. The late grass mixture test determines 5 allergens:
- floral thyme,
- hyacinth,
- thorn,
- rye,
- woody spike,
The test involves the determination of IgE antibodies in the blood and is
performed when an allergy to grasses is suspected. The advantage of the test
is that antihistamines do not need to be discontinued
The blood allergen test is also used for
qualification for desensitization of early grass allergy.
It is also recommended for the diagnosis of allergenic agents in
children under the age of 4 years.
The test is also used for the diagnosis of allergic factors in children under the age of 4 years
