Allergy to raspberries

The raspberry test is a blood allergy test. The test for raspberry allergy means Rubus allergen.


The test involves the determination of IgE antibodies in the blood and is performed when raspberry allergy is suspected. The advantage of of the test is that there is no need to discontinue antihistamines antihistamines. The blood allergen test is used also for qualifying for raspberry allergy desensitization.

It is also recommended for the diagnosis of allergenic agents in children under the age of 4 years.
