DM Anna Winiarska

DM Anna Winiarska has been associated with the scientific and medical life of the Clinic of Dermatology and Venereology at the Warsaw Medical University since her studies. She graduated from the Medical University in 1997, and after completing her postgraduate internship in 1998, she started working at the Clinic.

From 1999 to 2000, she stayed at the Dermatology Clinic of the Benjamin Franklin University in Berlin on a thirteen-month research scholarship regarding the project "Activity of nuclear receptor modifiers and cellular cross talk in the pilosebaceous units." These studies were pioneering and were published in prestigious scientific journals. As a result, she obtained a doctoral degree in medical sciences in 2000 based on her work on "The influence of agonists and antagonists of retinoid nuclear receptors on the proliferation and angiogenic abilities of keratinocytes."

In 2007, she obtained a specialization degree of the second degree in dermatology and venereology. She is a member of the Polish Dermatological Society and the European Society for Dermatological Research.

DM Anna Winiarska is the author and co-author of numerous Polish and international scientific publications. She participates in various research projects. She has received three awards from the Rector of the Warsaw Medical University, an award from the Editorial Board of the Dermatology Review, and an award from the Young Forum of the Polish Dermatological Society. Since 1998, she has been conducting classes in dermatology and venereology with students of the 1st Faculty of Medicine, Faculty of Physiotherapy, and the English Division.

In addition, she actively participates in the training of doctors specializing in dermatology and venereology. She has extensive experience in the treatment of skin lesions, including those located in the genital area. She deals with dermoscopy assessment of nevi, removal of common warts, seborrheic warts, fibromas, genital warts, and contagious mollusks.
