Qualification for Vaccination
A visit is required each time before administering the vaccine. The vaccination takes place directly after the qualification visit.
The qualification is necessary to receive any vaccination, such as against whooping cough, pneumococci, or shingles.
The purpose of the qualification for vaccination is to assess the overall health condition and ensure that there are no contraindications for the vaccination. The visit must take place no earlier than 24 hours before the vaccine is administered (in practice, it is conducted immediately before the vaccination).
What does the vaccination qualification entail?
During the visit, a medical interview will be conducted, during which the doctor or nurse may ask about your general well-being, the presence of chronic diseases, acute conditions, or concerning symptoms. They will also inquire about any other vaccinations and past post-vaccination symptoms.
A physical examination will then be performed.
If the patient is not qualified for vaccination, they must schedule another qualification visit at the time indicated by the doctor or nurse. The next qualification visit will incur an additional charge.
