Previously worked for many years at the Second Clinic of Psychiatry of the Institute of Psychiatry and Neurology. He also served as the head of the Third General Psychiatric Ward at Tworkowski Hospital. From 2008 to 2011, he was the head of the Mental Health Clinic and the Psychogeriatric Day Ward at SPZZLO Warsaw Żoliborz. He has experience as an on-call doctor in the ambulance service and as a doctor organizing a psychosomatic ward at ZUS in Konstancin Jeziorna.

He specializes in pharmacological treatment of mental disorders, with a particular interest in mood disorders and psychogeriatrics since the beginning of his professional work.
