Ankle Joint Ultrasound

Ultrasonography of the ankle joint effectively reveals post-traumatic changes. Ankle sprains are often associated with joint effusion and ligament ruptures. All these pathologies can be diagnosed during an ultrasound examination. Additionally, thanks to dynamic assessment, we gain information about the stability of specific anatomical structures. Ankle ultrasound also enables the diagnosis of various tendon pathologies occurring around the ankle joint.
