Allergy to grapes

The grape allergy test is a blood allergy test The grape allergy test identifies the allergen Vitis vinifera .

The test involves the determination of IgE antibodies in the blood and is performed when an allergy to grapes is suspected. The advantage of of the test is that there is no need to discontinue antihistamines antihistamines. The blood allergen test is used also for qualification for desensitization of grape allergy.

It is also recommended for the diagnosis of allergenic agents in children under the age of 4 years.
