Dr. med. Joanna Ateńska-Pawłowska is a cardiologist. She graduated from the Medical University of Vienna, where she completed her diploma thesis on aortic stenosis in the field of cardiology. In 2007, she earned her doctorate. She began specializing in cardiology in 2009, initially working at the Central Clinical Hospital of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Administration in Warsaw.

From 2011 to 2017, she was associated with the 2nd Clinic of Coronary Artery Disease at the Institute of Cardiology in Warsaw, where she cared for patients with coronary artery disease, acute myocardial infarction, heart failure, and rhythm disorders. She also worked for many years in the Intensive Cardiac Care Unit and served in the Emergency Department.

Currently, her daily work involves caring for patients after cardiac surgery and performing echocardiographic examinations. She is a member of the Polish and European Society of Cardiology. She only sees adult patients.
